MS-Charlemagne

The MS Charlemagne provides vacation cruise clients with a German or Holland Cruise Vacation.  The Ms Charlemagne is an upscale intimate, river cruising boat serving 32 passengers in comparative luxury with gourmet meals, wine with lunch and dinner, included shore excursions each day.   MS Charlemagne cruises Holland in the tulip season of Spring and does three German itineraries beginning late May. 

River Cruise vacationers are offered six different European cruise programs;

1. Holland during the Tulip Season.  See Holland at it's brightest time of the year, the spring tulip season.  Our Holland Cruise visits sites that have made this country a popular tourist site for centuries.

2. Amsterdam to Koblenz Germany and reverse at end of season.  These two transition cruises give the vacationer the chance to do a true Rhine River Cruise with all the castles and chateaus along the way.  The Rhine is one of the most popular cruising rivers in the world.  A two week cruise is possible with this departure by booking the following Moselle River Cruise as well.

3. The Moselle River---At Koblenz the Moselle and Neckar River converge.  This allows us the possibility of a week long cruise from Koblenz on either river.  We will do Koblenz to Metz France one week with the return the next week. This cruise takes one through the most beautiful valley in Germany, through Luxembourg and on into France.  Three countries on one cruise.  Two week cruises are possible on selected dates.

4. The Rhine and the Neckar River---from Koblenz offers another fantastic cruise itinerary. You will travel the Romantic Rhine with it's riverside castles and towns and villages dated from Roman times before turning on the Neckar river to magnificant Heidelberg and then on to the pastoral beauty of the Neckar Valley.  Two week cruises are possible on selected dates.  

5. Because Charlemagne is making two German itineraries it is possible for you to book a two week cruise on several dates. All Metz departures can be set up as two week programs.   The same is true for all Bad Wimpfen departures. Furthermore the transition cruise from Amsterdam can be extended into a two week program. 

On each itinerary you will be treated to at least different shore excursions as only Canal & Company can do them.  Combine this with your gourmet meals, complimentary wine, and the intimate ambiance that only a small boat can provide and you have the makings of the best vacation of your life.
